अश्रिभ्यां सह सोमं च पिबाम विगतज्वरा: । फिर तो मदके मुखमें पड़े हुए देवताओंने आपसमें सलाह करके इन्द्रसे कहा --'देवराज! आप विप्रवर च्यवनको प्रणाम कीजिये (इनसे विरोध करना अच्छा नहीं है)। हमलोग निश्रिन्त होकर अश्विनीकुमारोंके साथ सोमपान करेंगे”
aśribhyāṁ saha somaṁ ca pibāma vigatajvarāḥ |
قال تشيافانا (Cyavana): «هلمّوا نشرب السُّوما (Soma) مع الأشفينَين (Aśvins)، وقد زال عنّا كلُّ حُمّى وضيق.» وفي سياق الحكاية من حول ذلك، تشاورَت الآلهة—وقد فزِعت من عاقبة معاداة الناسك—ثم قالت لإندرا: «يا ملكَ الآلهة! انحنِ وسلِّم على البراهمن الأجلّ تشيافانا (فليس من الحِكمة منازعته). عندئذٍ نشرب السُّوما آمنين مع التوأمين الأشفينَين.»
