साहं त्यक्त्वा गमिष्यामि भूमित्व॑ं ब्रह्मण: पदम् | अयं सराष्ट्रो नृपतिर्मा भूदिति ततोडगमत्
Translation
فعزمت الأرض قائلةً: «إن كان هذا الملك قد أضمر مثل هذا الرأي، فسأترك أنا أيضًا واجبي في حمل العالم (دارمتي بوصفِي أرضًا تُقيم الخلق) وأمضي إلى مقام براهما، ليهلك هذا الملك مع مملكته». وبعد أن أحكمت عزمها، مضت الأرض راحلةً.
