अजुन उवाच
As a concluding colophon, this line signals that the chapter’s focus is dāna-dharma (the ethical discipline of giving). It frames the preceding material as instruction on righteous generosity, presented through an authoritative dialogue involving a deity (Vāyu) and a renowned king (Kārtavīrya Arjuna).
This is an end-of-chapter notice stating that the chapter has concluded. It identifies the larger book (Anuśāsana Parva), the internal section (Dāna-dharma), and the chapter’s subject matter: a dialogue between Vāyudeva and Kārtavīrya Arjuna.
