आवर्तनो निवृत्तात्मा संवृत: सम्प्रमर्दन: । अहःसंवर्तको वल्लिरनिलो धरणीधर:

Transliteration

āvartano nivṛttātmā saṁvṛtaḥ sampramardanaḥ | ahaḥsaṁvartako vahnir anilo dharaṇīdharaḥ ||

Translation

قال بهيشما: هو الذي يُدير عجلة الوجود الدنيوي، ومع ذلك فذاته منسحبة أبدًا عن كل قيد. مستورٌ بماياه اليوغا التي هي له، لكنه مع ذلك يصير قوةً تسحق وتُخضع الجميع عبر تجلياته الشديدة. كالشمس يُقيم النهار على وجهه؛ وكالنار يحمل القُربان؛ وكالريح يتحرك نَفَسًا للحياة؛ وكحامل الأرض—مثل فاراها وشِيشا—يسند العالم. وهكذا يُمدَح الربّ بوصفه حقيقةً واحدة تتجلّى في وظائف كونية شتّى.
