श्रीमहेश्वर उवाच
Dharma is framed as lived, regular obligation: maintaining the sacred fire, honoring one’s ancestors, and performing the five prescribed sacrifices. Righteousness here is not abstract but expressed through sustained ritual and ethical responsibility.
Śrīmahēśvara is instructing the listener by defining what counts as dharma for the addressed group, emphasizing core household religious duties—fire-rites, ancestral offerings, and the fivefold sacrificial observances.
