Rudra-Śiva: Names, Two Natures, and the Logic of Epithets (रुद्रनाम-बहुरूपत्व-प्रकरणम्)
ये त्वन्ये शुद्धमनसो दयाधर्मपरायणा: । सन्तश्नलक्रचरा: पुण्या: सोमलोकचराश्न ये
ye tv anye śuddha-manaso dayā-dharma-parāyaṇāḥ | santaś ca nitya-kriyā-carāḥ puṇyāḥ soma-loka-carāś ca ye ||
وأما الآخرون ممن طهرت قلوبهم، وتفانَوا في الرحمة والدارما، وعاشوا عيشة الصالحين المنضبطين، وكانوا ذوي فضلٍ واستحقاق—فأولئك يسيرون في عالم سوما. وتُبرز الآية أن صفاء الباطن، والرحمة، والثبات على السلوك الأخلاقي القويم يفضي إلى منزلةٍ سامية بعد الموت.
श्रीमहेश्वर उवाच
The verse teaches that purity of mind, compassion, and unwavering commitment to dharma—supported by steady observance of rightful duties—generate puṇya (merit) and lead to an elevated posthumous destination, here described as Soma-loka.
Maheśvara is describing categories of beings and their destinations based on conduct. In this line he points to “other” virtuous persons—pure-minded, compassionate, dharma-oriented, and disciplined—who attain and dwell in Soma’s heavenly realm.
