Arjuna–Vāyu Dialogue on Brāhmaṇa and Kṣatriya Precedence
एवं तुष्टास्तत: सर्वे अधस्ताद्धारपीडिता: । श्रमं त॑ं नावबुध्यामो धारयन्तो वसुंधराम्
evaṃ tuṣṭās tataḥ sarve adhas tād dhārapīḍitāḥ | śramaṃ taṃ nāvabudhyāmo dhārayanto vasuṃdharām ||
وهكذا رضينا جميعًا؛ ومع أنّ العبءَ كان يضغط علينا من أسفل، لم نشعر بذلك العناء أصلًا، على الرغم من أنّنا كنّا نحمل الأرض.
रेणुक उवाच
When one is inwardly content and aligned with duty, even heavy responsibility can feel light; satisfaction and steadiness of mind can make hardship less consciously felt.
Reṇukā describes a group (speaking as ‘we’) who, though physically burdened from below while supporting the Earth, did not register the fatigue because they were collectively pleased and steady in their task.
