अहिंसा-आत्मौपम्य-उपदेशः | Instruction on Ahiṃsā and Self-Comparison Ethics
सुभगो दर्शनीयश्व ज्ञानभाग्यथ जायते । जायते परिपूर्णाड़्: पौर्णमास्येव चन्द्रमा:,ऐसा करनेसे मनुष्य पूर्णिमाके चन्द्रमाकी भाँति परिपूर्णांग सौभाग्यशाली, दर्शनीय तथा ज्ञानका भागी होता है
subhago darśanīyaś ca jñānabhāgyaḥ sa jāyate | jāyate paripūrṇāṅgaḥ paurṇamāsy eva candramāḥ ||
قال بهيشما: «من عمل على هذا النحو وُلِدَ موفورَ الحظ، حسنَ المنظر، ذا نصيبٍ مستحقٍّ من المعرفة؛ وتغدو أعضاؤه كاملةً تامّة—كالقمر في ليلة البدر.»
भीष्म उवाच
Right conduct and disciplined practice lead to holistic flourishing: good fortune, an admirable presence, and a genuine share in wisdom—symbolized by the full moon’s completeness and radiance.
In Bhishma’s instruction section of the Anushasana Parva, he describes the फल (result) of a prescribed virtuous practice, stating that one who follows it becomes complete and radiant in life, like the full moon.
