मानसतीर्थ-शौचप्रशंसा | Praise of the ‘Mental Tīrtha’ and the Marks of Purity
अमृताशी वसंस्तत्र स वितृष्ण: प्रमोदते । देवर्षिचरितं राजन् राजर्षिभिरनुछितम्
amṛtāśī vasaṃs tatra sa vitṛṣṇaḥ pramodate | devarṣicaritaṃ rājan rājarṣibhir anūcitam, yugakalpasahasrāṇi trīṇy āvasati vai sukham |
قال بهيشما: هناك، يحيى على غذاءٍ أمبروسيّ، وبلا شهوةٍ ولا ظمأٍ للرغبة يفرح. أيها الملك، إن ذلك الرجل ذا الهيئة الإلهية يصغي ويتأمل سيرةَ الرِّشِيّات الإلهيين كما رواها الحكماءُ الملوك؛ ثم، ممتطيًا مركبةً سماويةً فاخرة، يلهو في نشوةٍ طافحة مع فتياتٍ فاتنات، ويقيم هناك سعيدًا ثلاثةَ آلافِ يوجا وكَلْبَة. ويؤكد المقطع أن التمتع بالعوالم العليا يكون بترك التعلّق وتنمية الاقتداء بالنماذج النبيلة، لا بالجشع والتشبث.
