Householder Duties and Daily Offerings
जनेश्वर! इस गृहस्थ-धर्मका पालन करते रहनेपर तुम इहलोकमें सुयश और परलोकमें स्वर्ग प्राप्त कर लोगे ।। इति श्रीमहाभारते अनुशासनपर्वणि दानधर्मपर्वणि बलिदानविधिनाम सप्तनवतितमो<ध्याय:
janeśvara! asya gṛhastha-dharmasya pālanaṃ satataṃ kurvan tvaṃ iha-loke suyaśaḥ prāpsyasi, para-loke ca svargaṃ prāpsyasi.
قال بهيشما: «يا سيّد الناس، إن واظبتَ على إقامة دارما ربّ البيت (gṛhastha-dharma) هذه، نلتَ في هذه الدنيا صيتًا حسنًا، وفي العالم الآخر تبلغ السماء (svarga).» — وهكذا، في «شري مهابهاراتا»، في «أنوشاسانا بارفا»، ضمن «بارفا دارما العطاء»، انتهى الفصل السابع والتسعون المسمّى «كيفية البَلي-دانَ (قربان التقدمة)».
