उपदेशदोषप्रसङ्गः (Upadeśa-doṣa-prasaṅgaḥ) — The Risk of Misapplied Counsel

सांख्ये चैव परा प्रीतिस्तस्य चैवं व्यवर्धत । वे ऋषि वेद और अथर्ववेदके परिनिष्छित विद्वान्‌ हो गये। कल्पप्रयोग और ज्योतिषयमें भी पारंगत हुए। सांख्यमें भी उनका परम अनुराग बढ़ने लगा

sāṅkhye caiva parā prītis tasya caivaṃ vyavardhata |

قال بهيشما: «وفي السانكْهيا أيضًا نهضت لذّته العظمى، وعلى هذا النحو أخذت تنمو وتزداد». لقد صار عالمًا محقِّقًا قد استبان له الفصل في الفيدا والأتهرفافيدا، وأحكم كذلك علم الكَلْپا (أحكام الشعائر) وعلم الجيوتيشا (علم النجوم). وهكذا أخذ شغفه بالسانكْهيا يشتدّ ويتعاظم.
