इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत आदिपर्वके अन्तर्गत सम्भवपर्वमें ययात्युपाख्यानविषयक छिह्तत्तरवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraḥ Śrīmahābhārata Ādiparvake antargataṃ Sambhavaparvaṇi Yayāty-upākhyāna-viṣayakaḥ ṣaṭsaptatitamo ’dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ abhavat.
وهكذا تنتهي السورةُ السابعةُ والسبعون من «سَمبهافا بَرفا» ضمن «آدي بَرفا» من المهابهارتا الجليلة، وهي السورة التي موضوعها خبرُ الملك يَياطي. ويُثبِت الراوي تمامَ هذا القسم، مُشيرًا إلى انتقالٍ في سرد الأنساب والبدايات الذي يُؤطِّر العالم الأخلاقي للملحمة.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
