Jaratkāru’s Marital Compact and Departure (जरत्कारु–जरत्कारुणी संवादः)
ततो यशः प्रदीप्तं ते त्रिषु लोकेषु विश्रुतम् निरंशुरिव घर्माशुरन्तर्धानमितो व्रजेत्,“यदि तुम सफल न हुए तो तीनों लोकोंमें विख्यात एवं प्रकाशित तुम्हारा यश किरणरहित सूर्यके समान इस लोकसे अदृश्य हो जायगा”
tato yaśaḥ pradīptaṃ te triṣu lokeṣu viśrutam niraṃśur iva gharmāśur antardhānam ito vrajet
«فإن لم تُوفَّق، فإن شهرتَك—المتّقدةَ والمشهودَ بها في العوالم الثلاثة—ستبهت في هذا العالم وتغيب، كحرِّ الشمس إذا خلا من أشعّته.»
