Jaratkāru’s Marital Compact and Departure (जरत्कारु–जरत्कारुणी संवादः)
यत् तेडभिलपितं प्राप्तुं फलं तस्मान्नूपोत्तमात् । अहमेव प्रदास्यामि तत् ते यद्यपि दुर्लभम्,“उस श्रेष्ठ राजासे जो फल प्राप्त करना तुम्हें अभीष्ट है, वह अत्यन्त दुर्लभ हो तो भी मैं ही तुम्हें दे दूँगा
kāśyapa uvāca | yat teḍabhilapitaṃ prāptuṃ phalaṃ tasmān nṛpottamāt | aham eva pradāsyāmi tat te yady api durlabham ||
«أيُّ ثمرةٍ ترغب في نيلها من ذلك الملكِ الفاضل—وإن كانت بالغةَ العُسر—فأنا نفسي سأهبُها لك.»
