कर्णस्य मन्त्रः — Duryodhana-प्रति नीति-विचारः

Karna’s Counsel on Strategy toward the Pāṇḍavas

एष धर्मों ध्रुवो राजंश्वरैनमविचारयम्‌ । मा च शंका तत्र ते स्थात्‌ कथंचिदपि पार्थिव,राजन! यह अटल धर्म है। आप बिना किसी सोच-विचारके इसका पालन करें। पृथ्वीपते! आपको इस विषयमें किसी प्रकारकी आशंका नहीं होनी चाहिये

eṣa dharmo dhruvo rājan īśvarainam avicārayam | mā ca śaṅkā tatra te sthāt kathaṃcid api pārthiva ||

قال يودهيشثيرا: «أيها الملك، هذه هي قاعدة الدَّرْمَا الثابتة التي لا تتبدّل. فاتّبعها بلا تردّد ولا إفراط في المداولة. يا سيّد الأرض، لا تدع شكًّا يقوم في نفسك في هذا الأمر على أي وجه.»
