tato jānāpadāḥ sarve ājamamur nagaraṃ prati | tad adbhutatamaṃ draṣṭuṃ pārthās tatraiva cāvāsan |
The verse contrasts collective excitement with the steadiness of the righteous: crowds rush to witness marvels, while the Pāṇḍavas are depicted as composed and settled, suggesting self-control and stability amid sensational events.
News of a highly wondrous occurrence spreads; people from the surrounding regions converge on the city to see it, and the Pāṇḍavas continue living in the same place as before.
