क्रीडावसाने ते सर्वे शुचिवस्त्रा: स्वलंकृता: । दिवसान्ते परिश्रान्ता विहृत्य च कुरूद्वहा:,जलक्रीड़ा समाप्त होनेपर दिनके अन्तमें विहारसे थके हुए वे समस्त कुरुश्रेष्ठ वीर शुद्ध वस्त्र धारणकर सुन्दर आभूषणोंसे विभूषित हो उन क्रीड़ाभवनोंमें ही रात बितानेका विचार करने लगे। बलवान् भीमसेन उस समय अधिक परिश्रम करनेके कारण बहुत थक गये थे
krīḍāvasāne te sarve śucivastrāḥ sv-alaṅkṛtāḥ | divasānte pariśrāntā vihṛtya ca kurūdvahāḥ |
قال ڤايشَمبايَنَة: لمّا انتهت ملاعبة الماء واللهو، عند انقضاء النهار، لبس أولئك الأبطال، سادة الكورو—وقد أجهدهم المرح عند آخر اليوم—ثيابًا طاهرة وتزيّنوا بالحُليّ، وعزموا أن يبيتوا هناك في أجنحة المتعة. أمّا بهيمسينا، على شدّة بأسه، فكان يومئذٍ أشدّهم إعياءً لأنه بذل من الجهد أكثر من غيره.
