एवमुक्ता तु सा देवी तथा चक्रे पतिव्रता । यथोक्तमेव तद्वाक्यं भद्रा पुत्रार्थिनी तदा,आकाशवाणीके यों कहनेपर पुत्रकी इच्छा रखनेवाली पतिव्रता भद्रादेवीने पतिकी पूर्वोक्त आज्ञाका अक्षरश: पालन किया
evamuktā tu sā devī tathā cakre pativratā | yathoktam eva tad vākyaṃ bhadrā putrārthinī tadā ||
قال فايشَمبايانا: فلما خوطبتْ بذلك، فعلتْ تلك السيدة النبيلة—الثابتة على عفّة الزوجة ووفائها (پَتِڤْرَتا)—كما قيل لها تمامًا. وفي ذلك الحين كانت بَهدْرا تتوق إلى ولد، فنفّذت وصية زوجها حرفًا بحرف كما نُطقت.
