राज्यं तावत् पूर्वमेव मया त्यक्तं नराधिपा: । अपत्यहेतोरपि च करिष्येड्द्य विनिश्चयम्,राजाओ! राज्य तो मैंने पहले ही छोड़ दिया है; अब संतानके लिये भी अटल निश्चय कर रहा हूँ
rājyaṃ tāvat pūrvam eva mayā tyaktaṃ narādhipāḥ | apatyahator api ca kariṣye ’dya viniścayam rājāo ||
قال غاḍيَة: «يا أيها الملوك، لقد نبذتُ المُلك منذ زمن بعيد. واليوم، حتى من أجل نيل الذرية، أعقد عزماً ثابتاً لا يتزعزع.»
