अहं त्वचक्षु: कार्पण्यात्‌ पुत्रप्रीत्या सहामि तत्‌ | मुहान्तं चानुमुह्यामि दुर्योधनमचेतनम्‌,मैं अंधा हूँ, अतः कुछ दीनताके कारण और कुछ पुत्रोंके प्रति अधिक आसक्ति होनेसे भी वह सब अन्याय सहता आ रहा हूँ। मन्दबुद्धि दुर्योधन जब मोहवश दुःखी होता था, तब मैं भी उसके साथ दुःखी हो जाता था

Transliteration

ahaṃ tvacakṣuḥ kārpaṇyāt putraprītyā sahāmi tat | muhāntaṃ cānumuhyāmi duryodhanam acetanam ||

Translation

إنّي أعمى؛ ومن ضعفٍ يُرثى له، ومن فرطِ محبّتي لأبنائي، ظللتُ أتحمّل كلَّ ذلك الجور. فإذا ما وقع دوريوذانا الغافل، وقد أضلّه الوهم، في الكرب، وقعتُ أنا أيضًا في الكرب معه.
