Adhyaya 89: शौचाचारलक्षणम् — सदाचार, भैक्ष्यचर्या, प्रायश्चित्त, द्रव्यशुद्धि, आशौच-निर्णय

शाकमूलफलादीनां धान्यवच्छुद्धिरिष्यते मार्जनोन्मार्जनैर् वेश्म पुनःपाकेन मृन्मयम्

śākamūlaphalādīnāṃ dhānyavacchuddhiriṣyate mārjanonmārjanair veśma punaḥpākena mṛnmayam

وأما الخُضَرُ والجذورُ والثمارُ وما شابهها، فالتطهيرُ لها مُقرَّرٌ كالحبوب. ويطهرُ المسكنُ بالكنسِ والتنظيف، وتطهرُ الأواني الفخاريةُ بإعادتها إلى الخَبزِ مرةً أخرى.
