viniyogaḥ sa vijñeya aihikāmuṣmikaṃ phalam viniyogajamāyuṣyam ārogyaṃ tanunityatā
Suta Goswami
It emphasizes that correct viniyoga—rightly applying the rite (mantra/nyāsa/offerings with proper intent)—is what makes Linga-pūjā truly fruitful, granting both worldly well-being and posthumous spiritual merit.
By linking right practice to both temporal and transcendent fruits, the verse implies Śiva as Pati who governs both realms—bestowing aihika benefits (health, longevity) while also guiding the pashu beyond pasha toward higher destiny.
The highlighted principle is viniyoga: disciplined, correctly framed use of the practice (mantra and worship procedure). It aligns with Pāśupata emphasis on purity and precision in sādhana to produce stable body and sustained practice.
