व्यपोहनस्तवनिरूपण-प्रसङ्गे नक्तभोजन-शिवव्रतविधिः (वार्षिक-प्रतिमास-क्रमः)

पौर्णमास्यां भवं स्नाप्य पञ्चगव्यघृतादिभिः श्वेतं गोमिथुनं दत्त्वा सो ऽश्वमेधफलं लभेत्

paurṇamāsyāṃ bhavaṃ snāpya pañcagavyaghṛtādibhiḥ śvetaṃ gomithunaṃ dattvā so 'śvamedhaphalaṃ labhet

في يوم البدر، بعد أن يُغسَّل بهافا (الرب شيفا) بمنتجات البقرة الخمسة وبالسمن المصفّى (غي) وما شابه، ثم يُوهَب زوجٌ أبيض من الماشية، ينال المرء ثمرة قربان الأشفاميدها. ووفق شيفا سيدهانتا، فإن استحمام اللينغا والدّانا على هذا النحو هما أوبايا للتطهير تُرخيان پاشا (القيد) عن پاشو (النفس الفردية) بفضل البهكتي إلى پَتي (شيفا).
