FAQs

It states the phala (spiritual result) of Shiva-oriented praise: recitation or even hearing the hymn purifies papa (sin) and leads the devotee toward Rudra’s realm—affirming bhakti and shravana as effective limbs of Linga-centered devotion.

Shiva is implied as Pati (the Lord) whose grace removes pasha (bondage manifesting as papa/impurity). Access to Rudraloka signifies nearness to Rudra and elevation of the pashu (individual soul) through divine sambandha (connection).

Stotra-patha (recitation) and stotra-shravana (devotional hearing) are highlighted as purificatory practices; they function as Shaiva sadhana that supports Pashupata-aligned inner purification and merit leading toward higher lokas.
