यदुवंश-प्रवचनम्: हैहय-क्रोष्टु-वंशविस्तारः (कृतवीर्यार्जुनादि, ज्यामघ-विदर्भ-शात्वत-पर्यन्तम्)

संजयस्य तु दायादो महिष्मान्नाम धार्मिकः आसीन् महिष्मतः पुत्रो भद्रश्रेण्यः प्रतापवान्

saṃjayasya tu dāyādo mahiṣmānnāma dhārmikaḥ āsīn mahiṣmataḥ putro bhadraśreṇyaḥ pratāpavān

ومن سَنْجَيَا خرج وارثٌ يُدعى مَهِشْمَان، بارٌّ قائمٌ على الدَّرْمَا. ومن مَهِشْمَان وُلِدَ بَهَدْرَشْرِينْيَا، شديدُ البأس عظيمُ الشجاعة.
