Adhyaya 40: Kali-yuga Lakshana, Yuga-sandhyamsha, and the Re-emergence of Dharma
अल्पोदका चाल्पफला भविष्यति वसुंधरा गोप्तारश्चाप्यगोप्तारः सम्भविष्यन्त्यशासनाः
alpodakā cālpaphalā bhaviṣyati vasuṃdharā goptāraścāpyagoptāraḥ sambhaviṣyantyaśāsanāḥ
ستكون الأرض قليلة الماء قليلة الثمر. وسيظهر حُماةٌ ليسوا بحماةٍ حقًّا—حكّامٌ بلا انضباط سيقومون، يفتقرون إلى الحكم القويم. في مثل هذا الزمان يُشدّ الباشو (النفس المقيّدة) أكثر بقيود الباشا (الرباط)؛ لذلك يكون الاحتماء بالباتي—السيد شيفا، عبر عبادة اللينغا (liṅga-upāsanā)—هو السبيل الموثوق إلى الثبات.
