ब्रह्मनारायणस्तवः — शिवस्य प्रभवत्व-प्रतिपादनम्

हिमघ्नाय च तीक्ष्णाय आर्द्रचर्मधराय च श्मशानरतिनित्याय नमो ऽस्तूल्मुकधारिणे

Transliteration

himaghnāya ca tīkṣṇāya ārdracarmadharāya ca śmaśānaratinityāya namo 'stūlmukadhāriṇe

Translation

السجودُ لمن يبدّدُ بردَ الجهل؛ لمن هو حادٌّ لا يساومُ على قيودِ العبودية؛ لمن يلبسُ الجلدَ الرطبَ علامةً على قهرِ الطبيعةِ الحيوانية؛ لمن يأنسُ دائماً بأرضِ الحرق حيثُ يصيرُ الأنا رماداً؛ ولحاملِ الشعلةِ المتّقدة.
