Devas Praise Śiva; Gaṇeśa Manifests as Vighneśvara and Receives the Primacy of Worship

Suta Goswami (narrating Shiva/Linga worship doctrine within the Purva-Bhaga discourse)
It declares Linga-puja with upacāras (gandha, puṣpa, dhūpa, etc.) as a necessary means to approach Pati (Shiva); even devas cannot reach Him without such devoted worship.
Shiva is presented as transcendent and not merely attainable by status or power; He is approached through reverent worship and devotion, implying His lordship (Pati) beyond the three worlds.
Ritual worship (pūjā) through traditional offerings—fragrance, flowers, and incense—emphasizing bhakti-centered discipline that supports liberation of the pashu from pasha by turning toward Pati.
