Aśauca-vidhi — Rules of Birth/Death Impurity, Sapinda Circles, and Śrāddha Sequence

नित्यानि चैव कर्माणि काम्यानि च विशेषतः / नकुर्याद् विहितं किञ्चित् स्वाध्यायं मनसापिच

nityāni caiva karmāṇi kāmyāni ca viśeṣataḥ / nakuryād vihitaṃ kiñcit svādhyāyaṃ manasāpica

ينبغي أداء الأعمال اليومية الواجبة، وعلى الخصوص اجتناب الطقوس التي تُقام بدافع الشهوة والرغبة (كاميَة). ولا يُهمَل شيء من الواجبات المقرّرة؛ وليُمارَس السْفادْهيَايَة (التلاوة والدراسة المقدّسة) ولو بالقلب والذهن.
