स्वभक्तवर्यं प्रविहाय नागः पलायितः कुत्र वै संवद त्वम् / दूर्वाङ्कुरैर्मोदकैः पूजयित्वा विनायकं पञ्चखाद्यैस्तथैव

بعد أن تركتَ عابدَكَ الأسمى، هربَ الناغا—فقل لي: إلى أين ذهبتَ حقًّا؟ وقد كنتَ قد عبَدتَ فيناياكا (Vināyaka) بأوراق عشب الدُورفا (dūrvā) وبحلوى المودَكا (modaka)، وكذلك بخمسة أنواع من القرابين المأكولة، فتكلم بالصدق.
