FAQs

This verse presents dhṛti as a divine, sustaining power—identified with Vāyu—that stabilizes the mind and practice of yogins and Hari’s devotees, enabling consistent dharma and devotion.

By stating that Vāyu ‘abides’ in devotees as dhṛti, it frames prāṇa/life-force as an inner ally that manifests as firmness, helping practitioners remain steady in worship, restraint, and meditation.

Strengthen dhṛti through disciplined breath, regular japa/puja, and steady ethical vows—treating consistency as sacred support rather than mere willpower.
