Mahārāja Sagara, Kapila Muni, and the Deliverance of the Sixty Thousand Sons
श्रीशुक उवाच इत्थंगीतानुभावस्तं भगवान्कपिलो मुनि: । अंशुमन्तमुवाचेदमनुग्राह्य धिया नृप ॥ २७ ॥
śrī-śuka uvāca itthaṁ gītānubhāvas taṁ bhagavān kapilo muniḥ aṁśumantam uvācedam anugrāhya dhiyā nṛpa
قال شري شوكا: يا أيها الملك، لما مجّد أَمشُمان الربّ على هذا النحو، شرح له الحكيم العظيم كَپِلا—وهو تجلٍّ قويّ من فيشنو—بدافع الرحمة طريقَ المعرفة الروحية.
This verse shows that the Lord (Kapila Muni) speaks and guides a seeker when He becomes gracious—mercy arises from His compassionate intention and is expressed through instructive words.
After Aṁśumān had acknowledged and heard Kapila’s greatness, Kapila—being pleased and compassionate—addressed him to give guidance within the unfolding narrative.
