Mahārāja Sagara, Kapila Muni, and the Deliverance of the Sixty Thousand Sons
tvan-māyā-racite loke vastu-buddhyā gṛhādiṣu bhramanti kāma-lobherṣyā- moha-vibhrānta-cetasaḥ
This verse says the world is arranged by the Lord’s māyā, and people mistake home and possessions as lasting reality, which keeps the mind wandering in delusion.
He groups them as the main forces that distort consciousness, making a person cling to material ‘substance’ and lose clear spiritual vision.
Treat possessions and status as temporary, watch for kāma-lobha-īrṣyā-moha in daily decisions, and re-center life on devotion and remembrance of the Lord rather than constant acquisition.
