It describes Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma dressing in pleasing garments, then taking the remaining clothes to share with the cowherd boys, discarding some—showing Their playful līlā and generosity toward companions.
In this Mathurā līlā, the Lord overturns arrogance and transforms ordinary items into service; after accepting suitable garments, He favors His associates (the gopas) by giving them the remainder.
Offer what you have in devotion, accept what supports dharma and service, and share the rest generously—turning personal gain into community upliftment and remembrance of God.
