This verse says the gopīs, simply by seeing Keśava, felt supreme joy and their viraha-born burning anguish disappeared—darśana of Kṛṣṇa itself becomes the remedy.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī narrates to Mahārāja Parīkṣit during the Rāsa-līlā episode, describing how the gopīs’ distress ends when Kṛṣṇa reappears before them.
Deep longing for God can be transformed through sincere remembrance and seeking darśana—keeping steady association with wisdom (sādhu/śāstra) and devotion reduces inner heat and anxiety.
