Sukta 31
यां ते कृत्यां कूपेऽवदधुः श्मशाने वा निचख्नुः । सद्मनि कृत्यां यां चक्रुः पुनः प्रति हरामि ताम्
yā́ṃ te kṛtyā́ṃ kū́pe ’vadadhúḥ śmaśāné vā nicakhnúḥ | sádmani kṛtyā́ṃ yā́ṃ cakrúḥ púnaḥ práti harāmi tā́m ||
What witchcraft they have laid for thee in a well, or have buried in the cremation-ground; what witchcraft they have wrought within the dwelling—this do I take and bear back again in return.
ما وضعوه لك من سِحرٍ في بئر، أو دفنوه في موضع الحرق (المحرقة)؛ وما صنعوه من سِحرٍ داخل المسكن—فذلك آخذُه وأحمله راجعًا إليهم ردًّا وجزاءً.
