tátas tatām ahā́s te mā́ avantu | asmín bráhmaṇy asmín kármaṇy asyā́m purodhā́yām asyā́m prátiṣṭhāyām asyā́m cittýām asyā́m ākū́tyām asyā́m āśíṣy asyā́m deváhūtyāṁ svā́hā

Thenceforth let the days spread forth and guard thee—me—herein: in this holy spell, in this rite; in this fore-setting, in this establishment; in this intent, in this purpose; in this blessing, in this god-invocation—Svāhā!

Translation

ومنذ ذلك الحين فلتنْبَسِطِ الأيّامُ ولتحرسْكَ—إيّاي—هنا: في هذا البَرَهْمَن (brahman)، في هذا الفعل الطقسيّ (karma)؛ في هذا التقديم أمامًا، في هذا التثبيت؛ في هذه النيّة، في هذا القصد؛ في هذه البركة، في هذا استدعاء الآلهة (devahūti)—سْفَاهَا!
