Sukta 117
bódhā su me maghavan vā́cam emā́ṃ yā́ṃ te vásiṣṭho árcati práśastim | imā́ bráhma sadhámāde juṣasva
Awake, O bounteous one, to this my speech, the laudation which Vasiṣṭha chants for thee: these sacred formulations, at the common feast, do thou accept with favour.
Rishi: RV provenance; Vasiṣṭha is named as paradigmatic singer (not necessarily the AV compiler)
Devata: Indra
Chandas: Triṣṭubh-type (to be confirmed).
{"primary_rasa":"shanta","secondary_rasa":"vira","emotional_arc":"From summons → alignment with tradition → calm assurance of acceptance.","listener_experience":"Settling of mind; confidence that one’s prayer is legitimate and heard.","intensity":5}
