Sukta 29

आ॒शीर्ण॒ ऊर्ज॑मु॒त सौ॑प्रजा॒स्त्वं दक्षं॑ धत्तं॒ द्रवि॑णं॒ सचे॑तसौ । जयं॒ क्षेत्रा॑णि॒ सह॑सा॒यमि॑न्द्र कृण्वा॒नो अ॒न्यानध॑रान्त्स॒पत्ना॑न्

āśī́r no ū́rjam utá su-prajā́s tváṃ dákṣaṃ dhattáṃ dráviṇaṃ sácetasau | jáyaṃ kṣétrāṇi sáhasāyám índra kṛṇvā́nó anyā́n ádharānt sápátnān

A blessing for us—nourishing strength, and goodly offspring: thou, and ye twain of one accord, set in us ability and substance. Winning the fields by force, O Indra, making the others low beneath—our rivals.

بركةٌ لنا—قوّةٌ مُغذّيةٌ وذرّيّةٌ صالحة؛ أنتَ، وأنتما الاثنانِ على اتّفاقٍ، ضَعوا فينا الكفاءةَ (dakṣa) والثروةَ (draviṇa). يا إندرا، اغلبِ الحقولَ بالقوّة، واجعلِ الآخرينَ أسفلَ—خصومَنا.
