परीदं वासो अधिथाः स्वस्तयेऽभूर्वापीनामभिशस्तिपा उ । शतं च जीव शरदः पुरूचीर्वसूनि चारुर्वि भजासि जीवन्

IAST Transliteration

párī́daṃ vā́so adhithāḥ svastáye ’bhū́r vāpīnā́m abhíśastipā́ u | śatáṃ ca jī́va śarádaḥ purūcī́r vásūni cā́rur ví bhajāsi jī́van

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Round thee thou hast assumed this garment for welfare; thou hast become, indeed, a warder from imprecation for the pools. Live thou a hundred years, yea many autumns; and, living, in seemly wise divide and enjoy thy goods.

Translation

لقد اتخذتِ هذا اللباس من حولك للسلامة؛ وحقًّا صرتِ حارسةً للغدران من اللعنة والقدح. عيشي مئةَ سنةٍ، بل خريفًا بعد خريفٍ كثيرًا؛ وأنتِ حيّةٌ اقسمي أموالك واقتسميها وتمتّعي بها على وجهٍ حسن.
