Sukta 2
ā́ roha tálpaṃ su-manasyámānèhá prajā́ṃ janaya pátye asmái | indrāṇī́va su-búdhā búdhyamānā jyótir-agrā uṣásaḥ práti jāgarāsi
Mount thou the couch, of gracious mind; here generate offspring for this thy lord. Like Indrāṇī, well-awake, awakening, with light before thee, thou watchest toward the Dawns.
Rishi: Ātharvaṇa bridal tradition.
Devata: Indrāṇī (exemplar), Uṣas (dawns), and the marital-fertility function itself.
Chandas: Triṣṭubh-like cadence is possible due to length; domestic AV verses often show expanded pādas.
