सुमङ्गली प्रतरणी गृहाणां सुशेवा पत्ये श्वशुराय शंभूः । स्योना श्वश्र्वै प्र गृहान् विशेमान्

sumáṅgalī prá-taraṇī gr̥hā́ṇāṃ suśévā pátye śváśurāya śámbhūḥ | syónā śváśrvai prá gr̥hā́n viśemān ||

Auspicious, bearing us safely through the houses, kindly in service—be thou a maker of peace to husband and to father-in-law. Gentle to thy mother-in-law, may we enter forth into the home.

أيتها المباركة، يا من تُعبرين بنا بسلامٍ خلال البيوت، يا حسنةَ الخدمة—كوني صانعةَ سلامٍ للزوج وللحمو. كوني لينةً للحمَاة؛ ولندخلْ إلى الدار دخولًا حسنًا.
