Sukta 3
प्राचींप्राचीं प्रदिशमा रभेथामेतं लोकं श्रद्दधानाः सचन्ते । यद् वां पक्वं परिविष्टमग्नौ तस्य गुप्तये दंपती सं श्रयेथाम्
prā́cīṁ-prā́cīṁ pradíśam ā́ rabhéthām etáṁ lokáṁ śraddádhānāḥ sacante | yád vā́ṁ pakváṁ parivíṣṭam agnáu tásya gúptaye dampatī́ sáṁ śrayethām ||
Eastward—still eastward—seize ye the quarter; unto this world the faithful cleave and follow. What for you twain is cooked and duly served about in the Fire, for the guarding of that, O Husband and Wife, together take your station.
إلى الشرق—بل إلى الشرق دائمًا—تَمَسَّكا بالجهة؛ وإلى هذا العالم يلتصق أهلُ الشَّرَدْدها (الإيمان) ويتبعون. وما طُبِخ لكما وأُحِيط به وقدِّم على نحوٍ لائقٍ في النار، فَلِحِفْظِه يا زوجَين، اتَّخِذا معًا مقامَكما.
