Sukta 7
táyor aháṃ parinṛ́tyantyor iva ná ví jānāmi yátarā parástāt | pumā́nénad vayaty úd gṛṇanti pumā́nénad ví jabhār ádhi nā́ke
Of those two, as though they circled in a dance, I cannot clearly know which stands beyond the other. By the Male is this woven; by the Male they hymn it up: by the Male hath it been brought forth and set on high in heaven.
Rishi: Atharvanic speculative seer (anukramaṇī-dependent).
Devata: Prajāpati/Brahman (as ‘pumān’), with subordinate cosmic pair.
Chandas: Mixed/irregular; late speculative diction.
