The Slaying of Indrajit
तंसमीक्ष्यमहातेजामहेषुंतेनसंहितम् ।।।।लक्ष्मणोऽप्याददेबाणमद्यभदीमपराक्रमः ।
taṃ samīkṣya mahātejā maheṣuṃ tena saṃhitam | lakṣmaṇo 'py ādade bāṇam adya bhīmaparākramaḥ ||
Perceiving that mighty, blazing shaft set in readiness by him, Lakṣmaṇa too—terrible in valor—took up another arrow, resolved for the encounter.
Extraordinarily brilliant and of terrific valour, Lakshmana, perceiving the mighty shaft yoked by him (by Indrajith), he took up another arrow.
