The Slaying of Atikāya
सतान् छित्त्वाशितैर्बाणैर्लक्ष्मणःपरवीरहा ।।।।आददेनिशितंबाणंज्वलन्तमिवतेजसा ।
sa tān chittvā śitair bāṇair lakṣmaṇaḥ paravīrahā | ādade niśitaṃ bāṇaṃ jvalantam iva tejasā ||
After splitting those missiles with keen arrows, Lakṣmaṇa—crusher of enemy champions—took up another sharp shaft, blazing as if with its own radiance.
Lakshmana, the heroic destroyer of foes, having split those arrows, seized a shaft which was a bright and sharp flaming arrow.
