“Hero, it is true that the manliness you have attained makes you hard to withstand even for Indra and the like. Your prowess has indeed been seen today. But here stands Rāma, son of Daśaratha—immovable like a mountain.”
"O Hero! that heroism you have acquired is irresistible even by Indra is true. Now your prowess has been witnessed. Rama stands here, immovable like a mountain."
Satya (truthful acknowledgement) paired with dharmic courage: Lakṣmaṇa concedes the opponent’s might honestly, yet affirms Rāma’s steadfast righteousness and unshakable resolve.
Lakṣmaṇa answers Kumbhakarṇa’s boasts, validating his strength but directing attention to Rāma, who stands firm and ready.
Lakṣmaṇa’s satya-vākya (truthful speech) and loyalty; Rāma’s acalatā (steadfastness) is also emphasized.
