They moved through lakes of clear water, across mountains thick with trees, over level stretches of land, and through fruit-laden forests—passing through the middle, around the edges, sideways and beneath, as they pressed onward in every way.
The vanaras went through the pellucid waters of the centre of the lakes. They went obliquely at the mountains, walked on plain lands and underneath trees filled with fruits, plucking them and eating.
Dharma is steadfast pursuit of a just goal despite terrain and hardship; righteous effort adapts without abandoning principle.
The narration tracks the army’s movement through varied geography—lakes, mountains, plains, and forests—showing the breadth of their advance.
Perseverance and adaptability—continuing the mission across all obstacles and routes.
