Saramā Consoles Sītā; Preparations in Laṅkā
अश्रूण्यानन्दजानित्वंवर्तयिष्यसिशोभने ।समागम्यपरिष्वज्यतस्योरसिमहोरसः ।।।।
aśrūṇy ānandajāni tvaṃ vartayiṣyasi śobhane |
samāgamya pariṣvajya tasyorasi mahorasaḥ ||
“O noble lady, you will shed tears born of joy when you meet him—embraced by broad-chested Rāma upon his breast.”
"Just as the earth becomes green with crops blessed with good monsoon, so also you will become joyful by seeing the great soul Rama's heroism."
The verse affirms dharma as steadfast fidelity and rightful reunion—enduring suffering without abandoning truth, leading to a morally ordered restoration.
Saramā reassures Sītā that her grief will soon transform into joy at her reunion with Rāma.
