पुष्पकविमानयात्रा—सेतुबन्धादि-दर्शनम्
Pushpaka Aerial Journey and Survey of Sacred Landmarks
इयं च दृश्यतेगङ्गापुण्यात्रिपथगानदी ।नानाद्विजगणाकीर्णासम्प्रपुष्पितकानना ।।।।
iyaṃ ca dṛśyate gaṅgā puṇyā tripathagā nadī | nānā-dvijagaṇākīrṇā samprapuṣpitakānanā ||
And here is seen the Gaṅgā—sacred, the river that flows through the three paths—thronged with flocks of many kinds of birds, its groves filled with blossoms.
"O Charming lady! See the best of the mountains Chitrakuta shining there. Kaikeyi's son had come here to request me to accept the kingdom."
Dharma is linked with purification and remembrance of the sacred: holy rivers symbolize inner cleansing and recommitment to truth and right conduct.
Rāma points out the Gaṅgā as part of the homeward landscape, evoking the sacred order that frames their life-story.
